Games I enjoy.

PAYDAY 2

My most played game on PC, PAYDAY 2. Having amassed over 900 hours in the game over the span of two years, it's fair to say I hold the game close to my heart.
The gameplay loop I always found satisfying, with the relative randomisation present serving to keep things fresh. And there's relatively few games that have survived
a live-service model (even if it meant lots of paid DLC). However, I only moved to PC gaming in 2021, so PD2 isn't my most-played game overall.

Rainbow Six: Siege

My most played game overall (on Xbox and PC), and my current go-to competitive game of choice, good old Siege. I started playing with my friend's guidance all the
way back in Operation Chimera, at the tender age of 14. 5 years later (notwithstanding a 23 month long break after Neon Dawn), I still play the game to this day. On defense
I usually hang around on site as one of Rook, Thorn or Echo, however I can be pressed into service as a competent Caveira. On attack, I pick around the team.

Audiosurf 2

And now something more obscure. If I had to describe Audiosurf 2, imagine playing an old Windows Media Player visualiser, but it was a Wipeout-style race to the end.
With the right combo of skin and song, Audiosurf 2 is able to let you experience your music in a manner that little else can match. And with the community patch,
you can play music from YouTube. What is there not to like?

Train Sim World

And finally, the game that has provided this site's background image, Train Sim World. I was bitten by the TSW bug in 2020, and have stuck with the game to its 4th iteration.
I can't really put my finger on why, but with hours rivalling Rainbow Six, I'd argue the time and monetary investments were worth it.
